New Review in Choice Magazine

Choice, a publication of the Association of College and Research Libraries, gives From Day to Day: One Man’s Diary of Survival in Nazi Concentration Camps a “highly recommended” in its November issue, highlighting Nansen’s depiction “in well-chosen words and accurate drawings” of “the daily lives of persons who inflicted and those who endured insane levels of cruelty and deprivation.”  Choice reaches almost every undergraduate and university library in the U.S., including more than 22,000 academic libraries, faculty and key decision makers.  The full review can be found here.

“Thank you so much for making the visit to Guilford [College] and presenting the honorable life of Odd Nansen. . . . Without your effort, we would never have been able to know Odd Nansen. With it, we have a history to rely upon as a moral compass for acting with integrity in the face of human rights violations. May we live up to it!”
